Dersin Amacı |
The aims of this course are to enable students (within the frame of A2 level):
• to enjoy the experience of studying English language
• to develop a critical and informed response to texts in a range of forms, styles and contexts,
produced for a variety of audiences
• to communicate, accurately, and appropriately in their writing
• to develop an appreciation of concepts and techniques in the study of English language
• to build a firm foundation for further study of language and linguistics. |
Dersin İçeriği |
Level A2 is the low level of generative language use - the point at which the learner can interact
in a simple way, ask and answer simple questions about themselves, where they live, people they
know, and things they have, initiate and respond to simple statements in areas of immediate need
or on very familiar topics, rather than relying purely on a very finite rehearsed, lexically-organized
repertoire of situation-specific phrases. |
Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları (ÖÇ) |
• to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the
satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
• to introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details
such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
• to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to
help.
• to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate
relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography,
employment).
• to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information
on familiar and routine matters.
• to describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters
in areas of immediate need. |
