Course Objectives Bu derste öğrencilerin hedef dilin dilbilgisi kurallarını öğrenmeleri, öğrendikleri yapıları kendilerini sözlü ve yazılı ifade ederken etkili bir biçimde kullanmaları hedeflenmiştir. Temel düzeyde edinilmesi gereken sözcüklerin kazandırılmasının yanı sıra okuma, dinleme, konuşma ve yazma becerilerinin bütünleşik olarak verilmesi böylece öğrencilerin görsel veya işitsel olarak algıladıkları materyalleri sözlü ve yazılı olarak ifade etmeleri, hedef dilde öğrendikleri yapıları ve kazandıkları becerileri gerçek yaşam durumlarına aktararak etkili bir biçimde kullanmaları hedeflenmiştir.
Course Content Bu derste öğrenciler İngilizce dilbilgisi yapılarını ayrıntılı bir şekilde öğrenecek, kendilerini yazılı ve sözlü ifade edebilecekleri sözcükleri edinecek ve yabancı dil öğreniminde yer alan dört temel beceriyi bütünleşik olarak kullanacaklardır. Öğrendikleri yapıları, kuralları ve sözcükleri etkili bir biçimde diğer becerilerine aktarabileceklerdir. Ayrıca kültürlerarası karşılaştırma ve disiplinler arası bağlantı kurma imkanları bulacak, dolayısı ile hedef dili en etkili biçimde kullanacaklardır.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Öğrenciler amaç dilin temel yapısı hakkında farkındalık kazanacak ve bu kazanımlarını İngiliz Dili’nde yapılacak daha sonraki çalışmalarına aktaracaklardır. Anadili ve Hedef dil arasında karşılaştırma yapma imkanı bulacak ve öğrendiği ve edindiği becerileri farklı disiplinlere aktarabilecektir.
