Course Objectives The objective of this course is to make students familiar with film processing and provide them with the necsessary skills for dubbing and subtitling of film scripts. With the help of this course, the students will become equipped with necessary skills to provide subtitles for films from source language to the target language.
Course Content The course includes review of grammar rules and vocabulary items within the scope of film processing through dubbing and subtitling studies
Learning Outcomes (LO) To have sufficient background in film processing, translating film scripts and translation studies, to use the theoretical and practical framework in translational activity, and to develop the skill to detect, identify and solve translation problems faced during translational activity.
