Course Objectives By the end of this course, students will: • acquire the different learning styles of students • acquire the knowledge and skills to design a lesson plan to teach English • learn the techniques of teaching English grammar • engage in micro-teaching lessons to teach English grammar • evaluate, adapt and develop language teaching materials and learn how to integrate language skills
Course Content The course is a continuation of ELT311, enabling students to acquire skills necessary for teaching English Grammar and lesson planning and integrating the skills in English teaching.
Learning Outcomes (LO) By the end of the course, students will be able to: • analyze the different components of a lesson plan to teach English. create lesson plans to teach English to a variety of student profiles. • Learn different Learning styles of students and classroom interactions • learn different techniques and materials to teach Grammar and Integrated skills in English. • carry out micro-teachings to teach Grammar in English.
