Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge and skills related to the conceptual foundations of educational sciences and to provide an infrastructure for the subjects to be learned later.
Course Content In this course, the basic concepts related to education and training; aims and functions of education; the relationship of education with other fields and sciences; legal, social, cultural, historical, political, economic, philosophical and psychological foundations of education; current developments in teaching and teacher training; education orientations in the twenty-first century.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. Explain the basic concepts of education. 2. Explains the psychological foundations of slope. 3. Explains the economic and legal foundations of education. 4. comments on the development of teacher training in Turkey. 5. Evaluate new trends in education.
