Course Objectives This course is designed to help students develop their critical reading and writing skills by making them analyze, evaluate, examine, and question the texts they read and take positions, show evidence, and leap to conclusions in everything they write.
Course Content Summarizing and reporting on current studies selected in the field of English language education; to be able to analyze the works from their own context and localization of information; to be able to compare and synthesize texts that advocate different views on the same subject and produce their own original texts.
Learning Outcomes (LO) At the end of this class, students will be able to: 1) Classify arguments in texts. 2) Critically analyze texts and make summaries and reports. 3) Make valid and sound arguments in their compositions 4) Synthesize available information from texts to create their own texts. 5) Employ various writing strategies
