Course Objectives |
The intent of the course is analyzing how to design young learner course syllabuses focusing on the applicability of different syllabus types (e.g.: story-based, content-based, theme-based, task-based) . to classroom management, Student teachers will design a course and/or materials for a chosen syllabus type teaching activities and assessment practices for a diverse range of young learners. They use stories for teaching aim. |
Course Content |
The course provides the learners with the necessary theoretical knowledge base as well as practical suggestions via contemporary approaches in teaching to young learners. Teaching both very young and young learners by using stories .It also provides the learners how skills integrated each other. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; LO1 - By using songs ,games ,craft activities and stories he can use techniques of learning a second language effectively LO2 – By improvisation and role playıng in different topics he can act out LO3 - At the end of the course the students will be able to not only understand the theoretical aspects regarding young learners but also put theory into practice by integrating all the skills and designing various materials to be used. |
