Course Objectives |
The aim this course is to study adolescence period, the current issues and approaches about this period. |
Course Content |
The course includes introducing the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development in adolescence period, reviewing current issues of adolescence literature and to present and evaluate the selected issues. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who completed the course and were successful will acquire the following achievements;
1- Define the theoretical and conceptual approaches of adolescence development
2- Acknowledge the contemporary discussions in adolescence studies
3- Analyse the research methods and results of the selected articles
4- Relate positive youth approach to todays’ adolescents
5- Design reading materials (brochure, booklet) for adolescents, parents or school administrators and teachers |
