Course Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce fundamental concepts and techniques of scientific research and also to introduce research processes and ethical issues.
Course Content This course includes scientific research methods and techniques in psychology. Experimental research methods, applied research and preparing, writing and presenting a research or a research proposal are covered in this course.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1- Defining fundamental concepts related to research methods 2- Applying ethical principles of research 3- Developing and implementing research question as a group or individually 4- Reporting of research report in APA format as a group or individually 5- Comprehending the relation between research design and statistical analysis
