Course Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce fundamental concepts and techniques of scientific research and also to introduce research processes and ethical issues.
Course Content This course includes to examine quantitative (survey, correlation, experimental designs) and qualitative (content analysis) research methods and to prepare and present a research proposal.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1-Defining fundamental concepts related to research methods 2- Identifying and defining quantitative and qualitative research 3- Identifying and applying ethical principles of research 4- Developing and implementing research question as a group or individually 5- Preparing and presenting of research proposal as a group or individually 6- Comprehending the relation between research design and statistical analysis
