Course Objectives To help students to shape their field of interest by introducing preliminary information on Developmental, Social, Clinical, Personality, and Health Psychology.
Course Content Preliminary introduction to various subfields of psychology as basic science..
Learning Outcomes (LO) On successful completion of the course students will have gained/acquired: 1-an insight into the nature and measurement of intelligence 2-knowledge about basic concepts and theories of development 3- an understanding of the nature of personality 4- knowledge about the nature of stress and basic concepts of health psychology 5- an understanding of abnormal behaviors 6-knowledge about psychotherapy and various approaches to psychotherapy 7-knowledge about the scope of social psychology
