Course Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce the main concepts of social psychology and to exhibit the scientific foundations of human behaviors in social contexts. The main objective of the course is to improve the students' understanding and comprehension of the social psychological issues.
Course Content In this course students are introduced with the basic topics (e.g., ssocial influence, group dynamics, altruism, agression and close relationships), approaches and methods of social psychology.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1- Defining basic concepts and researches of the social Psychology. 2- Explaining the basic theory of the social psychology. 3- Explaining what the effects of group on individuals' behavior. 4- Relating the theoric knowledge, concepts and researches of social psychology with everyday life situations. 5- Discussing everday social issues.
