Course Objectives The aim of this course is to equip students with the English language skills in the fundamental level.
Course Content In this course, students are going to be introduced to the basics of English language in terms of grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading and speaking.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attend the course and are successful at the end of the term will be able to 1. stimulate basic English conversation for simple authentic tasks like introducing yourself, ordering at a restaurant, making reservations for holidays and giving directions 2. listen and follow short dialogues in English for general ideas and details 3. read and follow short and authentic textual information such as e-mails, text messages and blogs in English
