Course Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce the main concepts of criminology. The main objective of the course is to improve the students understanding and comprehension of important contemporary issues in criminal justice and public policy.
Course Content In this course, students are introduced with the definition of crime and delinquency. Theoretical and empirical research (e.g, types of crime, crime control, punishment, social control, gender and crime, deviance and mass media, family violence)
