Course Objectives This course introduces the main theoretical perspectives on crime, deviance and delinquency, types of crime and important empirical methods in the phenomenon of delinquency.
Course Content This course includes the study of theoretical and empirical research on the definition of crime and delinquency, types of crime, crime control, punishment and punishment, social control, male and female delinquency, deviance and mass communication, domestic violence.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1 Evaluates the relationship between crime and the justice system. 2. Classify types of crime and methods of fighting crime. 3. Interprets deviance and deviant behaviors in societies. 4. Examines the relationship between modernity and crime. 5. It can draw conclusions about the existing problems in the field of crime and deviation. 6. Can carry out interdisciplinary work in the field of crime and deviance.
