Course Objectives |
The aim of this course is to examine the pattern of cognitive development in childhood, adolescence and adulthood. |
Course Content |
The theories explaining cognitive development are introduced and the developmental characteristics of cognitive processes, such as problem solving, memory, language and causation are examined in this course. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who completed the course and were successful will acquire the following achievements;
1- Recognize the basic concepts and theories of the cognitive development field,
2- Distinguish the developmental features of cognitive processes,
3- Define the differences in cognitive processes depending on biological and experiential effects,
4- Evaluate current issues related to cognitive development,
5- Design a research proposal in the light of current research findings, |
