Course Objectives The aim of this course is to examine the pattern of cognitive development in childhood, adolescence and adulthood.
Course Content The theories explaining cognitive development are introduced and the developmental characteristics of cognitive processes, such as problem solving, memory, language and causation are examined in this course.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who completed the course and were successful will acquire the following achievements; 1- Recognize the basic concepts and theories of the cognitive development field, 2- Distinguish the developmental features of cognitive processes, 3- Define the differences in cognitive processes depending on biological and experiential effects, 4- Evaluate current issues related to cognitive development, 5- Design a research proposal in the light of current research findings,
