Course Objectives To help students to shape their field of interest by introducing preliminary information on Developmental, Social, Clinical, Personality, and Health Psychology.
Course Content Preliminary introduction to various subfields of psychology as basic science..
Learning Outcomes (LO) On successful completion of the course students will have gained/acquired: 1- an insight into the nature and measurement of intelligence 2- Summarizing the topics within the scope of developmental psychology and the basic theories, concepts and approaches of developmental psychology 3- an understanding of the nature of personality 4- Summarizing the main areas of interest and theories, concepts and approaches in stress and health psychology 5- an understanding of abnormal behaviors 6- Summarizing the therapy process and different therapy approaches 7- Summarizing topics in social psychology
