Course Objectives To enable every young person to use Turkish correctly and beautifully in terms of language-thought-emotion connection during the higher education period. To develop students' critical, inquiring, investigative, constructive, creative thinking and expression with outstanding works of Turkish and world literature.
Course Content * To develop basic language skills in line with the level and needs of university students. * To teach the importance of developing correct and beautiful expression and using the elements of language successfully. * Using Turkish correctly and beautifully as a means of written and oral expression in terms of language-thought-emotion connection * Applying fiction and intellectual text analysis methods (novel, story, poem, memoir……) * Each student will make a presentation during the semester and will give the presentation topic as a term paper
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. To be able to use Turkish correctly and effectively, in accordance with the rules of speech, in a way to ensure good communication 2. Developing vocabulary through texts 3. Expressing what you think, read, observe and research verbally and in writing 4.Making the right judgment of the read works with all their dimensions. 5. To be able to analyze and interpret the works with a critical view equipped with a certain level of knowledge, cultural background.
