Course Objectives The aim of this course is to study articles related to the different psychological subdisciplines and designing a research .
Course Content The content of this course includes to evaluating the articles critically, comprehending concepts and discussing the research deaign of these articles. Also preparation of a research proposal and carrying out the research is in the scope of this course
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and successfully completed will acquire the followings; 1-) Comprehending the basic concepts and structures of various psychological subdisciplines, 2-) Examining and evaluating research articles. 3-) Designing a research proposal including research question and hypothesis, 4-) Having knowledge about data collection and statistical analysis, 5-) Having knowledge about academic writing style

1. Week Course description and discussions about course topics.
2. Week Introducing Critical Thinking Basics
3. Week Determining a research topic; including variables, hypotheses about the research
4. Week Selecting measurement tools for the research
5. Week Each group will bring an article about their research topic and discuss it in the class ALL students are expected to come prepared to engage in lively discussion and present their own thoughts, reactions, questions and objections to the articles
