Course Objectives The course named Anthropology of Education aims to make sense of the interaction of the socio-cultural backgrounds of the students with the practices that establish the school culture and to examine the cultural construction of the school as a social institution.
Course Content The course called Anthropology of Education includes the interaction of the socio-cultural backgrounds of the students with the practices that establish the school culture and the examination of the cultural construction of the school as a social institution.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Those who have taken and successfully completed this course are expected to gain the following: 1. Knows the science of anthropology. 2. Gains an anthropological perspective. 3. Recognizes the concepts of culture and culture. 4. Makes sense of the cultural construction of schools. 5. Recognizes the dynamics affecting the school culture. 6. Can follow the change and transformation of school culture. 7. Gains knowledge of methods for researching school culture.
