Course Objectives |
The aim of this course is to introduce the main concepts of social psychology and to exhibit the scientific foundations of human behaviors in social contexts. The main objective of the course is to improve the students' understanding and comprehension of the social psychological issues. |
Course Content |
In this course students are introduced with the basic topics (e.g., self, social cognition, social perception, attitudes), approaches and methods of social psychology.

Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings;
1- Defining basic concepts and researches of the social psychology.
2- Comrehending the background and the history of the social psychology.
3- Comprehending the basic concepts of research methods in social psychology.
4- Having knowledge of the teories and concepts that explain the basic topics of social psychology (e.g., social cognition, self, attitudes).
5- Explaining how human behavior is affected by social context.
6- Relating the theoric knowledge, concepts and researches of social psychology with everyday life situations |
