Course Objectives |
This course considers the mechanisms through which gender is constructed and perpetuated and its implications for different aspects of our lives. |
Course Content |
In this course basic concepts and theories of gender, gender streotypes, gender discrimination and the results of gender roles will be evaluated from different perspectives.

Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings;
1- Describing the perspectives of basic theories and approaches that related with gender
2- Explaining the cultural and historical differences regarding gender roles
3- Problem solving by following and critically evaluating the psychological researches related with gender
4- Implimenting the knowledge of gender on different social situations
5- Relating how gender affects the social interaction in everyday life |
