Course Objectives Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to examine personality, its development, theoretical approaches explaining them and related concepts.
Course Content Within the scope of the course, Psychodynamic Theories, Behavioral and Cognitive Theories, Research-Oriented Theories, Humanistic and Existential Theories and theorists will be discussed and introduced.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. To know the concept of personality and the emergence of personality theories in its historical process. 2. To know the theories and basic assumptions and concepts to explain the development of personality. 3. To be able to compare different personality theories with each other. 4. To explain the concept of personality from the perspective of different theories and to be able to look critically. 5. To know the explanations of different personality theories regarding the emergence of mental disorders.
