Course Objectives The aim of the end-of-life physiological care course; to teach the student to evaluate the needs of the individual who is in the last period of life, with a holistic perspective.
Course Content In this course, evaluation of the physical needs of patients living in their last days and necessary nursing skills will be taught.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The achievements of the students who take this course and successfully complete it are as follows: LO-1 Understands the concept of end-of-life care and death. LO-2 Understands end-of-life care and features. LO-3 Understands the importance of nursing care, nutrition, and pain management in the end-of-life period. LO-4 Applies ethical approaches in the end-of-life period LO-5 Evaluates related researches in the field of nursing.
