Course Objectives This course aims to teach the scientific method, usage of the scientific method in the healthcare field, research designs, principles, processes, and practices of the researches and reporting the results of the research.
Course Content This course investigates the importance of nursing research, building a research problem, the steps of research process, the research designs, and the implementation stages.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who completed the course successfully will acquire the following: LO -1. Explains the science and scientific method concepts. LO -2. Counts the steps of the research process. LO -3. Designates a research problem and an associated research question to shed light on the nursing field. LO -4. Prepares a questionnaire for a descriptive study. LO -5. Collects the data of planned research. LO -6. Writes the research report via the collected data.
