Course Objectives This course aims to give information to the students about the concepts of health promotion and the health politics, and to comprehend the importance of the issue via the various examples both from the globe and the nation-wide.
Course Content This course investigates the importance of knowledge, skills, and interventions related to health promotion in the context of political processes and the nursing roles used in health promotion practices.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who completed the course successfully will acquire the following: LO -1. Explains the human, environmental, health, and illness concepts. LO -2. Explains the alterations in the national healthcare system in the context of health politics. LO -3. Counts the determinants of health. LO -4. Explains the importance of gaining healthy lifestyle behaviors specific to all life courses. LO -5. Defines the nurse’s roles and responsibilities on the health promotion.
