Course Objectives |

It aims to provide knowledge and skills for planning protective and enhancing applications. |
Course Content |
In this course; teaches research techniques to determine appropriate methods for the distribution, causes, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases or health problems. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of the semester will acquire the following;
LO-1 Understands the definition of epidemiology, its scope, areas of duty, and the distribution of tasks in an epidemiological study.
LO-2 Explains the distribution of diseases and health conditions in society by using the relationship between agent, environment, and host.
LO-3 The student who takes the course realizes the health development of the society with an epidemiological approach while giving care to the individual.
LO-4 Understands the importance of keeping records and observations made in the clinic and in the field in the conduct of epidemiological studies.
LO-5 Understands the relationship between epidemiological studies and statistics. |
