Course Objectives |
This course covers the identification of unexpected events and strategies for preventing these events within the context of patient safety in health facilities. |
Course Content |
This course includes the basic concepts of patient safety, international patient safety standards, situations that threaten patient safety, medical errors in health facilities and case examples. |

The students who completed the course successfully will acquire the followings:
LO-1 Define basic concepts related to patient safety.
LO-2 Count international patient safety goals
LO-3 Apply strategies for patient safety in working life.
LO-4 List medical errors and causes in health facilities
