In this course, the limits of human physiology, the adaptation of human physiology to extreme conditions before pathological conditions occur, and their mechanisms are to enable students to understand. |
Course Content |
In this course, the adaptation of human physiology to extreme-extraordinary conditions is examined through an interactive method, from cells to systems. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of the semester will acquire the followings
LO-1 Understands the physiological limits and the concept of homeostasis.
LO-2 Interprets feedback mechanisms.
LO-3 Explains human physiology at high temperatures
LO-4 Explains human physiology at low temperatures
LO-5 Explain human physiology at high pressures
LO-6 Explain human physiology in hypoxic conditions
LO-7 Explains human physiology in the state of hunger
