Course Objectives |
"Turkish Education System and School Management" course is a course that aims to enable prospective teachers to recognize the education system as an organizational structure and to understand the management process of the education system. Within the scope of the Turkish Education System and School Administration course; By examining issues such as the aims and basic principles of the Turkish education system, the legal basis of the education system, the structure of the Turkish education system, management theories and processes, the organizational characteristics of the school, the management of the education program, student affairs, employee affairs, support and budget affairs, teacher candidates will be informed about the Turkish Education System. It is aimed to help students understand and gain knowledge about different aspects of school management. |
Course Content |
The formation of education systems and the structure of the Turkish Education system; Basic laws regulating the Turkish Education system; Provincial and overseas organization of the Ministry of National Education; Educational levels in the Turkish Education system; Manpower, physical technological and financial resources in the Turkish education system; Reform and innovation initiatives in the Turkish education system; organization-management theories and processes, school as a social system and organization; management of human resources; student personal affairs; affairs related to education and training; school, environment, society and family relationships; Current debates and trends about the Turkish education system and school |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
1. Defines the Turkish Education System as a whole and with its parts. 2. Explains the organization and management structure of the Turkish Education System. 3. Offers contemporary and scientific solution suggestions to the problems of the Turkish Education System. 4. Defines the basic concepts related to school management. |
