Course Objectives Students develop their scientific thinking power and design scientific research that can examine the problems they notice in educational environments, conduct the research and report the results.
Course Content Philosophy of Scientific Research, Basic concepts in scientific research methods, Structure of a research. Sampling techniques and sample size, Data collection tools. Data analysis. Reporting and APA standards.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. Explains the purpose of science and ways of reasoning. Can distinguish scientific knowledge from non-scientific knowledge. 2. He can define a problem he observes as a research problem and poses research questions. 3. Selects data collection methods appropriate to the variables in the research question. 4. Defines the population and sample in the research question. 5. Recognizes research designs. 6. Recognizes APA rules and reports a research accordingly.
