Course Objectives This course aims to ensure that students are aware that education is an important phenomenon in shaping society and that this phenomenon is integrated with all the contents of society.
Course Content The course named “Sociology of Education” includes examining the interaction of education as a social phenomenon and event with all organs of society from the point of view of various intellectual movements.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Those who take this course and successfully complete it are expected to acquire the following achievements: 1. Understands the importance of education as a social institution. 2. Can examine education from various perspectives. 3. Recognize the relationship between education and stratification. 4. Understands the importance of educational sociology. 5. Can discuss current issues regarding the relationship between education and society. 6. Can produce suggestions for visible problems that arise in the interaction of education and society.
