Course Objectives To develop and reinforce basic language skills in line with the level and needs of university students • To teach what correct and beautiful expression is and the importance of using the elements of language successfully • To instill effective communication skills in individuals and to transfer the features of their own language as a basis for this • Critical, questioning, interpretive, To gain the habit of creative thinking and expressing with rules
Course Content This course is offered to students of the Faculty of Education in order to develop language skills, which are the basis of communication between individuals and masses, in a coordinated manner, to make them understand the structure and functioning features of Turkish, to gain the ability to use the language in both written and oral expression according to its type, and to raise young people with native language awareness.
Learning Outcomes (LO) To use Turkish aesthetically, in accordance with correct and effective speaking rules, in a way that allows good communication and understanding • To develop vocabulary through texts • To have the ability to make presentations in front of the community, to express their knowledge and thoughts at a level that others can understand • To be active in group studies and presentations, and To have a sense of duty • To use the Turkish language within the framework of thesis writing rules in academic studies (undergraduate, master's and doctorate) • To have the ability to understand, evaluate and summarize a research heard or read • To be able to write a scientific article at a basic level with its content, findings and interpretation • Academic To learn and apply the steps of writing, ethical principles, and rules of writing bibliography. • To learn and apply functional texts such as petitions, minutes, and CVs with their rules.
