Course Objectives This course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills about literature review and report writing.
Course Content Homework, term paper, final paper preparation, rules of scientific reporting, shortcut tips in literature review, tabulation of scientific results, displaying content and objectives with cross-tabulations, APA format in scientific reporting.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Knowing ways to search literature via the internet and the library. Being able to scan current research in the field of education. Being able to prepare course assignments and research reports in accordance with scientific writing criteria.

1. Week Introduction: Content, objectives, and expectations from the student of the source scanning and report writing course. Science, scientific method and reporting.
2. Week Scientific research process and classification of research. The importance of scientific research in education.
3. Week The importance of reporting in the scientific method
4. Week Scanning scientific sources. Ways to access scientific information
5. Week Effective use of the library and computers in accessing resources. Major databases that can be used in the scientific field
6. Week Conducting sample resource searches; starting to write a report
7. Week Evaluation studies
8. Week Report writing: Introduction
9. Week Report writing: Citing references in the text and at the end
