Course Objectives This course aims to define semiotics and its relevance to language teaching and make students understand the basic concepts of semiotics and the relationship between semiotics and language teaching.
Course Content This course includes procedures for applying semiotics to analyze literary and language arts texts and fundamental principles of semiotics in the context of language teaching.
Learning Outcomes (LO) By the end of this 14-week course, students should be equipped with a strong understanding of how semiotics can enhance language teaching and be prepared to apply semiotic principles to their language instruction practices.
