Course Objectives The relationship between words and language structures; generating words with the help of prefixes and suffixes; It examines idioms, phrases, collocations, slang, meaning expansion and contraction, new words, idioms and phrasal verbs in spoken and written language.
Course Content To contribute to the development of vocabulary and the appropriate use of words in necessary contexts, and to ensure the association of the meaning and structural dimensions of words.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The achievements of students who complete and succeed in this course in the field of (course name) are as follows; . LO-1 Establishes a relationship between words and language structures. LO-2 Perceives idioms, phrases, collocations, slang, meaning improvement, proverbs and phrasal verbs in spoken and written language. LO-3 Produces words with the help of prefixes and suffixes.
