Course Objectives This course aims to provide prospective teachers with knowledge and skills in task-oriented learning and teaching of English, and in teaching English grammar and vocabulary.
Course Content Task-oriented language teaching method: Theories and Applications Learning-related tasks (activities) and language teaching curriculum Task-oriented language teaching method: 1st and 2nd stages Task-oriented language teaching method: 3rd stage and examining lesson examples Task-oriented lesson plan preparation and presenting Presentations
Learning Outcomes (LO) The achievements of students who complete and succeed in this course are as follows; LO-1 will be able to professionally criticize the lesson examples they follow and offer suggestions to improve the course when necessary. LO-3 They will be able to develop communication-based activities to teach English vocabulary LO-4 They will be able to develop communication-based activities to teach English grammar LO-5 Pre-service teachers will be able to understand the theories on which the task-oriented language teaching method is based.
