To train students in teaching reading and listening skills and to be able to use these skills |
Course Content |
A detailed examination of the different stages and techniques of teaching reading and listening; improving language awareness and teaching skills for learner groups of different ages and language proficiency; Lesson planning principles and techniques suitable for different proficiency levels. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
Emphasizing the importance of considering and meeting student needs in teaching language skills. Understanding the place and importance of warm-up activities used at the beginning of the course in teaching language skills. Identifying effective and ineffective reading skills. Teaching reading skills to students of different ages and with different needs. practice Applying pre-reading activities to main reading activities Understanding the difference between reading for the main idea and reading for detail and learning to prepare appropriate questions Comparing listening skills in real life and in the classroom Applying the teaching of different listening skills to students of different ages and with different needs when teaching listening skills For the main idea understand the difference between listening and listening for detailed information and learn to prepare appropriate questions |
