Course Objectives |
The objective of this course, the teacher candidates get develop for the curriculum development process and concepts, development of classified annual and lesson plans content selection and organization of teaching methods to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes in matters. |
Course Content |
Basic concepts on curricula; the development of English language curricula from past to present; current English language curriculum approach, content, skills it aims to improve; learning and sub-learning areas; distribution of the outcomes according to the classes and their limits; the relationship between the levels of English curriculum; methods, techniques, materials and materials used; measurement and evaluation approach; teacher qualifications |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
Students can understand basic concepts related to curriculum. They know the development of English course curriculum from past to present. They learn the approach, content, and skills that the current English course curriculum aims to develop. They can accurately relate the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the English Language Teaching programme. They can analyze the methods, techniques, tools, materials and measurement and evaluation approaches used in the programs. |
