Course Objectives |
This course aims to define semiotics and its relevance to language teaching and make students understand the basic concepts of semiotics and the relationship between semiotics and language teaching. |
Course Content |
This course includes procedures for applying semiotics to analyze literary and language arts texts and fundamental principles of semiotics in the context of language teaching. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
By the end of this 14-week course, students should be equipped with a strong understanding of how semiotics can enhance language teaching and be prepared to apply semiotic principles to their language instruction practices. |
