Course Objectives The aim of this course is; To examine the concepts of official program, extra-curricular activities and hidden program, to have information about hidden program approaches, to explain the effect of hidden program on cognitive and emotional learning, ceremonies, social cultural activities, etc. is to evaluate the school's extracurricular activities in the context of the hidden program.
Course Content This course is taught to students of the faculty of education as a 2-hour theoretical course.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Explains the concepts of formal curriculum, functional curriculum, hidden curriculum, ignored curriculum and extracurricular curriculum. Explains the types of extracurricular activities in education. Establishes relationships between extracurricular activities and the program. Explains and compares implicit program approaches. Explains the effects of the hidden curriculum in the process of gaining goals according to learning areas. Explains the place of values ​​education in extracurricular activities. Explains the importance of regulation in carrying out extracurricular activities in education.
