Course Objectives |
In the scope of “ENTREPRENEURSHIP MANAGEMENT” lecture, it is aimed for students to have skill building on planning and ability and to have necessary information for launching innovative entrepreneurship which has a creative great potential on economics and societies. In this scope information related to • Key concepts (entrepreneurship, entrepreneur person etc), • role of entrepreneur person, properties, • basic concepts on entrepreneurship, • building and application of a success full work plan will be given. By efficient attendance of students who are potential entrepreneurs, it is aimed; • to guide potential entrepreneurs for development and flotation of new business ideas • to be able to relate with real life by analyzing successful and unsuccessful entrepreneurship examples that we have faced frequently, in a more salubrious way |
Course Content |
Lecture is focusing on basic concepts on entrepreneurship, knowing the opportunities, connecting the human and financial resources necessary for the development of an idea, and on necessary planning activities for launching new entrepreneurships. |

To have information on concepts and entrepreneurship process, To be able to compare different entrepreneurship types, To be able to define why a person wishes to be an entrepreneur, To be able to define the importance of an entrepreneur from the aspect of the economy of a country and world, To be able to define the motivation, properties and the gained values of successful entrepreneurs, To be able to develop potential business ideas, To be able to assess the factors effecting the establishment of a new entrepreneurship, To be able to comprehend, assess and develop potential opportunities for new entrepreneurs, To be able to bunch the sources together for the establishing of a new enterprise, To be able to the feasibility of a new business concept, To be able to define the steps of the development of a business plan and develop a business plan, To be able to do marketing and industrial research and develop a marketing plan, To be able to analyze market, customer and competition, To be able to define financial support ways and methods, To know the methods and processes of strategy development, To be able to follow and know the entrepreneur trainings, To be able to assess the researches on entrepreneur trends, To be able to know training and financial supports on entrepreneurship and to be able to define necessary conditions to benefit from those supports, To be able to develop the capabilities of communication and networking establishments, To be able to define success stories, To be able to comprehend and analyze the factors effecting on development and establishment of a successful entrepreneur by case analysis and by examining universal examples, To be able to define the importance of ethic behavior while performing work and of responsible environmental applications, To be able to define the necessities for the establishment of a straight entrepreneur ecosystem and to be able to discuss the effects of private corporations and institutions. |
