Course Objectives To learn the basic principles and concepts of accounting and the manner of operation of accounting, to introduce chart of accounts and accounts in general and teach the accounting books.
Course Content This course consists of calculating balance sheets, examining and tabulating income and expense activities, and defining the concepts of equity, debt and assets.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The achievements of the students who have completed and successfully completed this course in relation to the field of accounting; 1- Being aware of the duties and responsibilities of the accounting departments of the companies, 2- To be able to explain the principles in the accounting literature, 3- To be able to make records of balance sheet and income statement accounts within the period and partly at the end of the period, 4- To be able to record the accounting of any commercial transaction.
