Course Objectives The course aims to understand what kind of political, economic and strategic place is occupied by the African continent and African countries and what role they play in international politics.
Course Content Examination of the policies carried out by African countries and international actors regarding Africa in world politics
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. To be able to make a comparison by learning the history and today of the African continent 2. To learn the political, economic and strategic strengths of the countries in the African continent 3. Understanding the relations between African countries 4. To learn what kind of organization the Organization of African Unity is and its meaning for the continent 5. Understanding the relations between African countries and global and regional actors
