Course Objectives The course aims at informing students on the functions, aims, contributions and influence over World politics of international organizations. It also aims at making students comprehend the importance of these organizations.
Course Content The International Organizations course analyses intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations that are currently playing and increasingly important role in International Relations and in Globalization. The way these insitutions are organized, the power they possess, and the relations amongst themselves and governments are main focus points of the lecture.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1-Students will be able to have a better grasp of International Relations as a field of study 2- Have ability to understand the role of international organisations in the globalised World. 3- Additionally, the course aims to improve the students’ understanding of Professional English.

9. Week United Nations Organization, its establishment, historical development and UN General Assembly
10. Week UN Security Council, UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO
11. Week Security Organizations and NATO
12. Week Regional Integration and EU and its organs
13. Week Economic Cooperation and IMF, World Bank (IBRD), and Regional Development Organizations
