Course Objectives The course aims at teaching critical methods of analysis to be used for comprehending main conceptualizations of communication field and symbolic meanings of messages.
Course Content The course presents various landmark perspectives to analyze artifacts of popular culture including music, movies, advertisements, clothing and other relevant texts and basic concepts of communication studies.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. The students can learn basic concepts and bibliography of the communication studies. 2. The students can redirect themselves and others about the examination of media, communication skills and media literacy.
