Course Objectives |
In this course, apprehending the evolution and basic operation of rules of law as distinct from social life rules. Students who enlightened about various legal concepts and terms, are expected to have awareness of judicial systems, norms and qualifications. In this context, another aim of this course is to develop interpretion and comparision abilities of the students who have knowledge of legal events, procedures and activities which are presentative reflections of law. |
Course Content |
Fundamental Knowledge of Law course focuses on the rules of law which are different from various social order rules in order to maintain the life of a zoon politikon in a social environment. In this context; , the course contains basic information about what the rules of law are and how they work different from moral and religious rules. The information in question includes how the divergence in positive law occurs and the differences of opinion on this issue. Information on the divisions in positive law allows the comparison of the differences between public and private law. Also; this is necessary for examining the basic concepts of law such as sources of law, legalization, legal systems and interpreting legal events, transactions and verbs. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings;
1- To put forward idea about fundamentals of law.
2- To make distinction between public law and private law and having knowledge on branches of private law as a beginer.
3- Having knowledge about, variety of legal rules, implementing and interpreting of law in terms of location and date.
4- Getting ready to examine notions of justice and right.
5- Having awareness about historical process of law. Analyzing changes of this process better.
6- To put forward idea about distinction of current legal systems .
