| Course Objectives |
This course aims to present the basic concepts of political science. Participation to politics and chages in policies will especially be stressed. Here are some topics that will be elaborated: Authority, government, legitimacy, state, ideology, liberalism, communism, fascism, imperialism,depedency,modernism, democracy, political parties, election systems, bureaucracy and civil society. |
| Course Content |
Fundamental notions of political science are studied and discussed. In this respect, historical and critical scrutinies of main analytical instruments used by contemporary political approaches are presented. |
| Learning Outcomes (LO) |
1- Comprehending the main concepts of political science discipline and having background knowledge for discussion
2- Providing main knowledge on basic subject matters of Political Science like civil society, bureaucracy, military and politics, nationalism.
3- Introducing essential notions of Political Science and enabling students to internalize these notions in the sense of linking themselves to the discipline.
