Course Objectives This course aims at deepening the students' perspectives on how the concepts of normality and abnormality; personality development and adjustment are defined from the viewpoints of different counseling approaches
Course Content Concepts of normal and abnormal. Personality development and explanation of personality development according to the different counseling theories.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1. To be able to explain the concepts of normal and abnormal 2. To be able to define personality 3. To know how different theories explain the concept of adjustment 4. To be able to explain the development of personality according to different theories 5. To be able to explain the factors that influence personality development either positively or negatively according to different theories.
