Prerequisites A bachelor's degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling and Psychology is required.
Recommended Optional Programme Component Since the field of psychological counseling and guidance is an applied program, this course is mainly carried out depending on exemplary practices and students' personal creativity and skills.
Course Objectives The aim of the course, based on its definition, is to provide students with knowledge and skills on the preparation, structuring and termination of the consultation process.
Course Content Basic concepts, principles and techniques of psychological counseling, psychological counseling process and stages, basic counseling skills and techniques, application of these basic skills and techniques.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The learning outcomes of the students who take this course and complete it successfully are as follows: 1. Knows the steps of psychological counseling 2. Can tell the process of establishing the first relationship with the client 3. Evaluate the problems of the client 4. Can create a purpose in psychological counseling 5. Can determine the strategy 6. Knows the interventions related to emotions 7. Knows behavioral interventions 8. Knows skills related to termination.
