Master in Private Law" Program was founded in the 2021-2022 academic year and consists of courses involving private law topics.

The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Private Law. 

Master's Degree

The rules for recognition of formal prior learning are well defined. A student who is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree programme in the same discipline at another institution and has successfully completed at least one semester, upon submitting all required documents before the deadline, may transfer to the Master's Programme at UFUK University upon the recommendation of the department administration and with the approval of the Administrative Committee of the Graduate School. The decision taken will also include eligibility for exemption from some course requirements of the graduate program. 

It is aimed to improve the ability to legal reasoning by reinforcing the basic legal theories and concepts in the Private Law Master's Program and to provide the ability to solve the problems encountered in practice more easily.

1. Recognition of basic concepts and theories of law.
2. Development of ability to reasoning.
3. Determination of research methods and principles of law.
4. The development of the ability to produce creative solutions to the problems encountered in the professional life.
5. Practice of legal concepts in the best way in practice.
6. Use of the information obtained in the training process in the professional life.
7. Internalization of academic writing rules and ethical principles.
8. Ability to present scientific research results in written and oral form.
9. Development of critical approach and discussion skill.
10. Comparative analysis of legal concepts and institutions.
11. Learning current developments in legal concepts and institutions.
12. Acquisition of universal jurisprudence in academic and professional life.
13. Learning relation between law and science with the basic concepts and sources of other sciences and development of interdisciplinary reasoning.

The graduates of the Master’s Programme have opportunities of employment of in a variety of public agencies, national and international companies and organisations, as well as academic institutions.

Students are required to take a mid-term and final examination for course evaluation. The final grade is based on the mid-term examination grade and the final examination grade with the contribution of 40% and 60% respectively. To pass any course, a student must receive at least 60 out of 100. Students whose Cum GPA are at least 2.50 are considered successful. Students whose Cum GPA lower than 2.50 (CB) must retake the courses that they had CC grades.
