Recommended Optional Programme Component |
Since the field of psychological counseling and guidance is an applied program, this course is mainly carried out depending on exemplary practices and students' personal creativity and skills. |
Course Objectives |
The aim of the course, based on its definition, is to provide students with knowledge and skills on the preparation, structuring and termination of the consultation process. |
Course Content |
Basic concepts, principles and techniques of psychological counseling, psychological counseling process and stages, basic counseling skills and techniques, application of these basic skills and techniques. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The learning outcomes of the students who take this course and complete it successfully are as follows: 1. Knows the steps of psychological counseling 2. Can tell the process of establishing the first relationship with the client 3. Evaluate the problems of the client 4. Can create a purpose in psychological counseling 5. Can determine the strategy 6. Knows the interventions related to emotions 7. Knows behavioral interventions 8. Knows skills related to termination. |
